A secondary review of the excessive contact by Victor Wembanyama on Jalen Brunson during Game 3 determined that while it should have been called a foul, it did not rise to the level of a flagrant foul and DP is crying foul (pun intended). Dan thinks it was clearly flagrant and concludes the NBA is obviously protecting Wemby from possible suspension.
Dan Patrick: “I don't know how you look at that and don't say that's a flagrant…I mean, this is egregious when you watch it. You know, no matter who you're rooting for, I'm not rooting for anybody. I'm just watching it and saying, first of all, it's a foul. Second of all, that looks flagrant to me. It's not a basketball move, and I would have given him a flagrant on that.”
