Mariners LF Randy Arozarena challenges a strike call and didn’t bother waiting for the ABS to deliver its ruling before heading to first base for his walk, making the umpire look completely foolish in the process. Stugotz is absolutely loving the repeated embarrassment the umpires are facing over ABS challenges and encourages MLB players to pimp those ABS calls for all they are worth.

Started walking down the first baseline, taking off his elbow pad, taking off all the stuff he needs to take off, and tossing it to the dugout because he knew he was right and the umpire was wrong. I am all for that! That is how you do it if that's the way players are going to do it, if they're going to make the umpires just look like complete jackasses.”
