During a Veterans Day celebration, students at Lincoln-West School of Science and Health in Cleveland surprised their JROTC instructor, Cheryl Greene according to WJW-TV
Cheryl is a retired Army Command Sergeant Major thought she was helping students with a school project but was stunned when they gave her 2 tickets to the Super Bowl in San Francisco!.
The gift, which includes travel and hotel accommodations, was arranged through the Browns Give Back program with help from CrossCountry Mortgage. Cheryl says she was “shaking on the inside” when she found out.
With more than 50 students enrolled in her program, Greene continues to inspire a new generation to serve and lead. Organizers say the gift is a way to thank her for years of service both in uniform and in the classroom.
