What's The Deal With This Green Pigeon?

A green pigeon in Northampton, England is turning heads. The bird was first spotted in June and has led to videos of the bird going viral on TikTok and other social media. People are coming from as far away as London to view the pigeon and it’s become an attraction. Mike Alibone, optics editor for Birdwatch Magazine told the BBC that the pigeon's color is unlikely to have any natural causes. He noted "There is no wild pigeon in the world that looks like this. It certainly looks as if it has been dyed and the green coloring is too artificial."
