Thanks To MAHA Kraft Foods Make A Major Change

MAHA is the acronym of Make America Healthy Again and is the platform of RFK Jr who says a major problem with Americans health is the food supply in our country compared to other countries. Kraft Heinz is responding by  removing FD&C artificial dyes from its products. The company announced yesterday that the dyes will be phased out by the end of 2027, and no new products containing those ingredients will be launched. According to Kraft Heinz, 10 percent of its products sold in the U.S. use FD&C colors. These include Kool-Aid, Jell-O, Crystal Light and MiO. The move comes as Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is pushing for the food industry to move away from using artificial dyes.

WASHINGTON, DC - MAY 22: (L-R) Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, U.S. President Donald Trump, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Education Secretary Linda McMahon attend and release event for a new Make America Healthy Again Commission report in the East Room of the White House on May 22, 2025 in Washington, DC. The commission, which is tasked with studying the potential causes for the "childhood chronic disease crisis," recommends reassessing the nation’s childhood vaccine schedule, scrutinizing ultra-processed foods and studying pesticides used in commercial farming. The Trump administration has proposed a FY2026 budget of $94 billion for the Department of Health and Human Services -- a reduction of about 26-percent from the 2025 level -- cutting programs and staff at the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
