How Much Will You Spend On Your Super Bowl Party

Super Bowl Sunday is less than two weeks away and now that we know which teams will be facing off on the field, we can focus on what’s really important - game day party food. Whether you’re cheering for the Chiefs or the Eagles, if you’re hosting a Super Bowl party, you’ll need a tasty lineup of snacks. And according to the new Wells Fargo Super Bowl Food report, feeding all those fans won’t cost you much more than last year.

The research reveals that the price to host a group of 10 is about the same as last year, with food costing just 0.1% more this year.

  • Food and drinks for 10 people, including fan favorites like beer, chips, guacamole and chicken wings, will cost around $139.
  • That’s just 10-cents more than last year’s price.
  • But if you try to be healthy, you’ll pay more for some items. The biggest price increases in popular foods year-over-year include cherry tomatoes, which are up 11.9%, avocados have increased 11.5%, and red bell peppers are up 7.4%.
  • Still, you can balance those out with some other veggies that have dropped in price, like celery, down 8.4% and broccoli, which decreased 7.2%.
  • Chicken wings will cost 7.2% more this year, but the price of frozen shrimp is down 4% from last year.
  • Chips and dip are a game day staple and still budget-friendly, as the price of onion dip has only increased 1.5%, while the prices of nacho cheese dip, salsa, corn chips and potato chips have all gone down by 0.7% to 5.1% compared to 2024.
  • Beer and wine prices have increased, but only by about 2%.
