Doug Gottlieb Compares Lamar Jackson & Dak Prescott to Ryan Fitzpatrick

Green Bay Packers v Dallas Cowboys
Doug Gottlieb: “September is the extended preseason and October is when reality strikes. They say in Game of Thrones that ‘Winter is Coming’ well video tape is coming, better competition is coming, a better sense of who is any good is coming… This year's 'Ryan Fitzpatrick Very, Very, Very, Early Season MVP Award' is a tie. Congratulations to Dak Prescott & Lamar Jackson!” (Full Video at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott’s red-hot starts to the 2019 season remind him of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s blusterous 2018 premiere that spawned a movement called ‘Fitz-Magic’ that almost ended Jameis Winston’s career in Tampa Bay.

The journeyman backup, who is 50-77 for his career as an NFL starter, played the best football of his career in the first three games of the season last year, throwing for 11 touchdowns, and becoming the first player in NFL history to have three consecutive 400-yard games.

Fitzpatrick eventually was exposed, losing six consecutive starts to allow Winston to get his job back.

Check out the video below as Gottlieb compares Fitz-Magic to the silly MVP campaigns that were erected for Prescott and Jackson when they started on a torrid pace against awful opponents.
