Jason Smith's PSA to NBA teams, stay away from Lonzo Ball! With reports that Lonzo will only workout for the Lakers, Jason think teams like the Celtics & Lakers should stay away from the UCLA star because of the baggage he carries. In this case, the baggage happens to be the very person who has been in charge of Lonzo since his birth, his father LaVar.
LaVar Ball has developed his own persona within the media, and Jason thinks it's only a matter of time before LaVar causes drama within NBA organizations. He questions how long it will take before he calls for the firing of Brad Stevens or Luke Walton if his son ends up on their teams. Lonzo isn't the star, his father is.
