P!nk will be going by her real name of Alecia Moore for her latest project, as a supporting actress in the new movie "Thanks For Sharing" out on Friday.
The romantic comedy centers around a group of sex addicts, Pink's character being one of the women in their "Sexacholics Anonymous" support group.
She'll be starring opposite Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow. In an interview with "Variety" at the movie's Los Angeles premiere, Pink said "I'm not an actress, I'm just here."
She spoke about how she brought her experiences with different types of addiction to the role, saying that she believes "all addiction comes from the same monster."
P!nk's co-stars sang her praises, however. Josh Gad, who plays her love interest, says that the singer was a natural in front of the camera.
After her first take on the set, Gad says he recalls thinking "We're dead. She's going to steal the whole movie from us."
